A (Needed) Guide to Reading G. K. Chesterton - David Mills su Catholic Herald.

People quote him all the time, but he’s not always that easy to read. G. K. Chesterton, who died 85 years ago today, was one of the greatest of Christianity’s popular writers in the last century. But while he offered forehead-slapping insight, he sometimes gave his readers head-scratching obscurity.

I love Chesterton’s writing, but I just want to warn you that he’s not always easy to read. If you start in the wrong place, you’ll give up and probably never touch him again. (I explained my love for his writing in Love, Rhetoric, and Holiness, published on Catholic Exchange.)
